Yeah but you don't have to be outside the vehicle with the Terrafugia. I think the jet pack would be good for short trips, but would it be practical? Really couldn't take the wife out on a date with the jet pack. On the other hand, unless you live near a municipal airport or a crop dusters house you are pretty well screwed for flying the car..
