Re: Service Loops

In our system it is not mandatory any more for service loops. But I do recommend to my techs to leave enough to cut and replace fittings a couple of times. If the install is done correctly their is no need to cut fittings for years. Now at the tap I recommend a service loop due to it will be exposed to more whether than other fittings. I am the one who does all QCs in my system even for our contractors. Not once have I charged back. It is a training aide nothing more . I send them back to fix it.and we forget about it contractors included. I want the customers to be happy. not pissed off techs and contractors. reliability will make you more money in the long run. not charge backs. Call me crazy.
