That's true. I had a customer curse out the saleperson because she made her give up her Dish Network with 2 DVR's that controlled 4 tv's and she could access the DVR's from the 2 tv that had no receivers connected, just to get DTV with 1 HDDVR , 1 HD for multi-room and 2 d12's. Needless to say she lost the ability to access the DVR services on 2 tv and lost storage space.. She went off on that saleperson over the phone so bad that she made her cry...I was laughing my ass off. Finally a saleperson got the brunt of their mistake. I even got a tip for having to do all that work for nothing. She switched back to Dish Network and I did get paid for the install.
