Re: Any CalTel guys still alive?

Your name is very familar. I knew Mike Smith very well. In fact we went to work for Caltel the same day I think in 65 or 66. We were wrecking out all the lead telephone cable in Long beach. It is a wonder we all didn't get killed on that job. lol I did get knocked off a pole when someone cut the cable with with tension on it. I had been working in CATV for a couple of years but I saw him climb his first pole. Do you have any ideal about Mikes whereabouts or if he is still kickin?
