If it's less than half of what it used to be for twice the hours, why not simply say the payout is less than a 1/4 of what it used to be. It's rough enough working directly to a prime now days, but when you are subbing to a sub the quality of work product you can expect from those working at that pay rate is going to be way below par and that means charge backs up the wazoo possibly amounting to more than you are owed. If you have a low voltage license and talented people working for you go and bid on some sub work for builders doing new and renovation construction.
