I haven't tried it yet, but a buddy of mine swears that LaCross Muc boots for winter can't be beat. The sole is so thick you can stand on a pole all day if needed and the warmest boot ever! He would climb all year round if they were not so warm. Only boot he will wear and bought them for the whole family. My wife bought a pair and said they are the most comfortable boot she has ever put on. Perfect for those muddy springs in new build areas. I'm going to give them a try this winter.
