Re: Cable Tables

I liked playing in the clay pits, you had to throw a good shoe to get points. All the people that were use to playing in dirt pits got use to sliding the shoe in for points. Clay puts an end to that it also ends the formation of the shoot that you get in dirt and sand after a while. As long as you hit the pit you don't get any bounces either. Just have to keep them moist and cover them when you aren't playing to keep them from drying out. I got a couple of sets of Gordon's in storage down in Florida, along with my golf clubs and other things. Hoping to get everything out of there in Sep. Got my friend that had the pig roast last week talked into setting up 3 pits so we can start playing again.
See you guys got me thinking about getting back into things that made me a happy young man....Drinking beer and playin shoes, top it off with eating anything that had been cooked over fire and you've hit one of the redneck trifectas.
If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking.
