Not sure what Wyoming rules are. We played the a ring is 3 points anything within a horseshoe's distance from the stake is 1 point. If you top a ringer they cancel each other out. If you both have anything that could be a point the closest one to the stake wins the point. If they are both the same distance they cancel each other out. Leaning shoes are 1 point (some people count them as 2) generally depends who's pits your playing in. I guess that's regular horseshoes. Good game for drinking beer while playing.
