Re: A Good Saturday


No I didn't do this pig, I helped with one over the Memorial Day weekend but I was working on that one and didn't get to enjoy it but it was a nice $300.00 paycheck.
 This one was done in a smoker and was really tasty, he used hickory chips and cherry wood and started it on Thursday night. The flavor of the wood permeated the meet and then he had 3 types of BBQ sauce. The one I liked best had Habaneros and apricots in it. Gave it a really good bite with just the right amount of sweetness. Of course between that and the Mooeheads & Molsons I had, I was peeling the paint off the bathroom walls the next day. It was worth every tucks pad I had to use.
