Again Mark has posted something he found on the internet which consists of nothing more than an opinion of a few people, no proof, and very little research, if any. It seems his only motive is contempt.
   If you do your research you will find that in Biblical times slavery amongst the Israelites was often an act of mercy to provide for the poor ( it's what we now call a job) or a punishment for a crime (community service) rather than an act of exploitation. If you take the time to read the Bible you will see it condemns the abuse of slaves and forced enslavement of people. Slaves (employees) were to be treated well in both the Old and New Testaments.
