I'm in Chicago and we have the same situation here. Most off us haven't worked in over 2 weeks. I was told it was because of the new system that they are implementing. I know May/June is normally slow months for installs. The local HSP is barely getting 200 installs a day in their main office and that has to be shared between in-house and sub-contractors, a lot of those guys are looking for work elsewhere, including myself. I spoke to a saleman for SmartCircle at BestBuy yesterday and he said that sales are really slow and they are about to roll out sales in Menards Home Improvement Store in June. Normally work picks up in mid-June when college kids come home and kids get out of school. I would say start looking for a plan B just to be on the safe side..Good Luck.
