I know. I was picking up what you were putting down. I just thought I would mention you have to HAVE heavy ass cones, to put out heavy cones. I have begun locking my cones up in my truck...and use a messenger to tie 'em down to the vehicle while I am on the pole or in the house.
Obviously someone is making a killing on those damn things...cause the last set I bought was freaking $50. A guy , actually more than one, that I have worked with in the past, just says, drive very slow in a construction zone and pick them up. I don't have the guts. It is stealing, and how does that make me any better than the person who stole mine in the first place?
I put cones out, but very rarely wear belt or hat...sometimes the vest. Guess I should start being good about that, huh?? Falling a few weeks ago could have been worse than a broken rib.
