I am assuming you are pulling cable through conduit, and not pulling inter-duct. If you are using one of those pole mount gas powered winches with an 8" capstan, should work fine. You just won't be able to wrap the cable around the capstan, and pull. I use condux pullers for pulling u/g coax or fiber and small pair copper. But,,,I have seen some guys, jack up the back of their truck, and take the drive tire off and put an empty rim on, and wind up the mule tape and pull that way.
