Actually bring in the equipment with an inventory list that they sign off on as having received it and that there is no more equipment outstanding on your cue. Use the voice recorder on your phone to record the entire transaction but don't tell them, then turn off the recorder after saying goodbye, and then walk into your bosses office and pinch a loaf or whatever else ya wanna do. Just make sure one way or another you have it documented that YOU RETURNED ALL CPE so you don't become their scapegoat for other missing equipment. With admin rights it's easy to edit the inventory control application and put the returned CPE under another tech and have the stuff they have been missing put under you.
