Is it an OSHA requirement to wear steel toe boots for cable installs? In the current shop I work in, noone gaffs. Everyone works off ladders. The new project manager wants us all in steel toes...but in the other shops I've worked in it has never been required(3 different states). The only requirement was a boot with a heel. This project manager says it is an OSHA reg. Can someone point me in the right direction to find/disprove this regulation?
Thanks for any feedback...
