My advise as a former Sub-Owner, If a company says that their pay is more than 3 weeks out, RUN!!! In 6 weeks you can accumulate over $5-$7 grand in pay. NEVER Let anyone control that much of your hard earned money.
Most subcompanies get their check for that 1st week of work at the end of week 3. If they do not have a good credit rating with their bank the bank is going to hold their check for 7-10 days before they release the funds. I still have my Bank Of America business account and if I deposit a $30,000 check it will clear at 12:01am the next day. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE why a company should hold you money that long unless they have plans to rip you off.
If you decide to go with them (which I hope you don't) kept all of your paperwork and have a good lawyer on retainer. Good Luck.
