There is nothing to apologize for. Sarcasm can be a very effective way to communicate. We are all big boys here and if you offended anyone they should get over it or they don't belong here.
I've said it many times religion and politics bring out peoples passions and cause some heated discussions. If you don't like whats being said you can either reply with a retort, keep your opinion to yourself, or stay out of forum.
I am one of the most sarcastic people on the bar and yea I know it goes against what some of Buddhism is about. But I can't help the way I am and the way my mind works. Perhaps some day with enough practice I'll get it right.
Anyway don't sweat it......................
