I was using a a T-40 to take EOL (end of line) readings one morning after a terrible thunderstorm.
Seeing the T-40 and assuming that I was from the power company, I had people comming up to me saying, "Great, you're here to fix the power."
After explaining that I am here to test the cable system they said, "Oh, the cable is fine. But we don't have any power."
After hearing this 3 or 4 times I couldn't resist any more, so I said, "Really? I got a call saying the cable was out. Do me a favor go in and turn on your TV and tell me if you are getting a good picture."
Well anyways, it wasn't long before the back up batteries died in the power supplies and I lost signal and called it a day.
