Good question, I have answered this for Gary V once before. I believe that there was a man named Jesus Christ and that he walked the Middle Eastern part of the world. I believe he was hung on the cross to die because he was disrupting the normal flow of the church and it made them afraid they were going to loose some of their power. So he was setup to die. I believe Jesus did believe in what he taught, and figured out what was going to happen to him eventually.
Given the above I believe that there is more than one path to god/heaven and that no religion is the one and only way. Buddha's teachings are only a tool to help those who choose to use them live a better life just as the bible the quran, torah, or the vedas (the 4 books that make up the Hindu religion).
Many on here will disagree with much if not all of what I have written here and that's their right. Many of the people here including myself have served and defended that right.
But in the end who knows who's right, that my friend is between god and the person standing in front of him.
