Hey got a 500.00 fine for installing Mastec/DTV work in Pinellas without a Limited Engery License, poor guy I tried to help him with the issue a company within 2 miles is operating doing the same thing. Well I was told were developing a plan and sit tight. They dont want to ticket every cable guy yet, they are waiting for the outcome of the DBPR, its done and just a little bit longer, I think when showed sexual preds and murders have installed over the years It kicked it up a knotch. But be on the look out DTV and Dish contractors in Pinellas two new inspectors are replacing retiring ones. I think four others got it. I just happened to know this guy, barely speaks english. DTV or Mastec isnt going to pay it. He was told he didnt need a lic, but wait... He didnt read the State laws... I feel for you Sid...

I feel bad for all the Lic holders for the Primes, they are going to get fined and lose them. 5k a person or job for each. One has 500 x 5k each comming. Thats a 2.5 million possible fine and stop all work. Humm... Took me two years. Slam me I bounce right back at you :). I know they read these. Like I seemed to mention to all the guys who call me. No one wants to talk to me only slam me down.

Permiting for Camera systems well im hearing from unlicensed guys, I cant do the job because of permiting.
Sat Dishs is Fl are required to have a permit if Roof mounted.... Well they are on the look out now. After I pointed out the Fl Stat that requires it. Dont know the facts read.
