I get your drift!
The model was designed for someone who was working for a company where everyone was well paid and motivated to continue the direction of the company. This was much like a rear guard action; you shoot until you die while the retreating army has time to regroup, resupply, repopulate (to replace you) and again attack through the position you fought to the death (yours) to defend.
It is truly crap....as your numbers suggest.
