Its pretty simple with DTV actually, the only real issue you have to look out for is the SWM vs KAKU, but with seibel, most of the guess work has been done for you for the most part........................ 18 inch Dish with a dual (or single) LNB works with anything, more than 2 tuners you would need to use a 3x4 multi switch, more than 4 tuners a 4x8 or 6x8 multiswitch....................................20 inch Dish with Triple Sat LNB for 110/119/101 satellite locations, again works with anything, only it can run up to 4 tuners, anything over 4 you would need a 4x8 or 6x8 multiswitch.................................International, works again with just about anything, it can pick up 101 and 95 sat, if they want hispanic or HD programming, you have to put up a second dish, and integrate it with a 6x8 for KAKU, or swm 8/16 for SWM (here is where it can get tricky).................................KAKU LNB, again, works with anything, you can use a KAKU 3 which picks up 101/103/99 sat locations, or a KAKU 5 which adds 110 and 119. Again, these LNB will work with any receiver....................................SWM (Single WIre Multiswitch) Will Only work with d12 or above, r16 or above, H20 or above, and hr20 and above. use a SWM LNB, power inserter, and SWM splitter. Read the directions that come in the power supply. .................................... Thats just a simple run down, you should be able to get a diagram called SPIG from your company, or google DirecTV SPIG and see if you can find it, it has everything you would need to know.............someone remind me what I have to do to separate the lines again, apparently just hitting enter doesnt do it
Never argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
