I can respect what you say,
I come to this and a few other sites for technical knowledge and hints. I refuse to work for the HSPs and they do have a direct source to the Directv training manuals & tech upgrades.
The reason I post the whining bad news about installation companies as I know them to be is because I can't forget the laughing tone of the Directv wonk who said, "sorry about your luck...Directv does not involve itself in subcontractor issues... (click).
So I ring the bell from time to time. Sorry about his luck!
