I'm talking in-house. Not contracting, and not Southern Star. Go to dishnetwork.com/careers to find an lsc near you...chances are they are hiring. Keep in mind, when you're not paying for anything, and putting in 60 hours a week, you won't make anything near what you would make contracting, but these days with the price of gas, and materials, you actually make more hourly now. Some of my guys are making 19 or more per hour...do the math. And you get benefits, sick days, paid days off, vacation, etc,etc. It behooves anyone who is questioning their career choices right now to look into this option. Trust me, been there, done that, this is my second "tour of duty", and I should not have quit to begin with. So glad I didnt' burn my bridges.
