I was running the Cox Upgrade at the time when this happened.I had told all my people that someone was going to get killed on that fiber project. Those 3 guys had 1 sign and it was nailed to the back of the flatbed .They were wearing shorts,no shirts,no hard hats. That morning they pulled out the fiber on ground and forgot to go behind the power guys.So when they realized what they had did they took the power co.guys loose and let them go.When they let the second one loose it fell into primary and dimmed lights through-out Omaha.I was in my office when it happened.I immediately got in my truck and went to sight where it happened. Not a pretty scene.Probably an acre of corn was burnt around pole.Hope I never see anything like this again.I still have pictures that came out in paper somewhere.
