When i first went into sub contracting, I knew it meant I got paid for what I did. I accepted the fact that it I still got paid the same if it took me 5 hours or 50. I dont get paid vacations unless you count traveling for work. I also have toprovide own insurance and work truck. And the more that I get to work, the more money I can make.
The MSO always maintains the right to set the rules. Maybe they are predicting a slow down and getting rid of subcontractors. Safety is a big BIG issue. If a tech cant follow safety procedures to save his own life, what do you think his work ethic is going to be like? Maybe they just need more money and are looking to fine the prime & the sub for violating safety laws. Or who knows, maybe the MSO just didnt like the work the sub provided.
