Well, I suppose had it been "real" companies, there would be a helluvalot fucking more people bitching here on the bar. When I hear (read) "sub contractor companies" I immediately think of an actual company (read - prime) and individual sub contractor 'companies' comes to mind last. So what you say has its validity, absolutely.
