Re: Why I got into cable

 Graduated high School in 79, started in house for T.C.I. in Ambridge,Pa in 1980 as an installer tech. steel industry was goin down fast and there weren't many other options for a guy with no job skills. Got lucky and was hired on. One thing i can say about the cable industry back then was that i never went without work for very long, If you were a good tech you could get work anywhere! I moved out to Arizona with three friends in 1985 and none of them could get work in construction. I put in three applications and all three called me within two days. I'm back on the East coast again and cable is still puttin the food on the table.
