Did 3 1/2 years in the Marines went to college on the GI Bill got a Bachelor Of Science degree after 4 years , so now i'm 25 and no job because I'm a white male. Wanted to go into the forest service but Equal opportunity was big then in the mid 70's and I was at the bottom of the totem pole. So I was running a jack hammer and pouring mud. Went down to the local cable company and applied, got hired the next day because of assc degree in electronics from the military, started at $2.85 an hr, went to get a loan and the banker laughed at me and told me that I was under poverty level , ha ha , went and showed the company the letter got a $3 an hr raise. that was 34 years ago. Worked for the man for about 17 yrs got sick of it and went out on my own. and thats all I have to say about that.
