Ok I went back out, replaced the drop, per my supers direction he said it was the problem. Well no change, I did however isolate about 25db of noise at 5mhz and another 11db at 12.3 plus some surges throughout the entire spectrum. Everything else checks out, as for the docsis 3.0 I had 2 regular modems that did the same thing. @speedlasher It definitely is not a switch problem as it keeps power just drops signal. I am of the position that it is the noise on the line. And before you ask I disconnected each drop at the tap and cappped the ports until I found the noise. When I reattached the suspect drop the noise levels jumped yet again.
