It happens. A lot. Lots of reasons why node tilt isn't set correctly. Just worked a system where the tilt was different at each cascade. System was trying to set node tilt at a level the node equipment was not designed for. It was a mess. System was responsible for setting up the nodes. We (contractor) were responsible for everything downstream. Found many nodes that were not set at the correct tilt. It was what it was. We also were required to get our reverse reference at the first amp out. Have also worked systems where we were required to get node reference off of tap on node. Lots of bad test points out there, guys.
