Hey Chuck, Sounds like someone made some bad splices, and connections. If they were done correctly they should be there forever. I don't like PPC connectors. Piss Poor Connectors. I have never had a problem with Gilbert. Best connectors and splices in the world. Have a great day, got a pile of pole tranfers and some re-route to get done today.  60 degrees and sunshine. Freakin' heat wave. Have a good one old man.  Go by and see the Cajun for me, tell him I miss his cookin'.   Ed
