I wasn't complaining about a particular project, just a trend I'm seeing where every engineering company is making the splicing spec harder to to hit for whatever reason and why they deviate from the RUS spec. For example, the project I'm on now also requires 1625nm testing so for 4000 fibers leaving the CO it means I'm performing 24,000 tests (for free...). And the customer is always right, like I said in the original post ' just b*tching to anyone that will listen'
