1. Lie- Tell customer "it can't be done, or we will have to come back another day to run those a/o's" (this will save an hour.)
2. Play dumb-"Ive never hooked up a dvd player or surround sound system before" (this will save 30 min...)
3. Bait and switch (goes with #1)(#2 only applies if you get caught) Instead of replacing that whole wrap as the w/o states, just find an inconspicuous place to splice and your done:)As long as it LOOKS new, the cust will never know the diff. (saves 1-2 hours)
4. Lie- Tell the customer it will cost 4x what it actually does do have what they want done. This is pretty effective as long as they don't have the price sheet in their hand. (This can save you hours of time these days)
5. Be prepared.. always carry alka seltzer on you. When steps 1,2,3 and 4 fail, your going to need a speedy exit and a good excuse.. Hope your acting skills are sharp cuz if you can't sell the fake seizure, miracle recovery, speedy exit your going to have some problems..
