if u hook those two boxes up w/cat5 they will talk to each other, if you use Ethernet switch connected to router then they will be networked, only hr24 is internet capable, it's got the isp address for the system. why you would do this, i have no idea, but that's how you you do it i would think, but since i haven't done it, it may blow up & burn the house down, i don't know
