This is true...but hypothetically speaking, if your whole house was prewired with cat5, you should be able to hook each HD receiver up to it's own network outlet and access VOD, setting MRV aside. But this is not the case. Suppose a customer didn't care about MRV, but wanted to access VOD with each receiver independently. Doesn't work. Suppose a customer get's one HR24, hooks it up to the internet and 6 months later upgrades and gets an h24. The customer thinks all he has to do is attach a network cable to the new one, but later finds that it won't access the internet. Service call issued to install deca? Charge back?
