Here are the 2011 federal standards http://www.osha.gov/pls/oshaweb/owadisp.show_document?p_table=STANDARDS&p_id=9730 keep in mind that some states have there own requirements and you are required to follow the grater safety standard. you can search each states standard from the site as well.
