I remember our( character generator) being a black velvet board of which I punched little white letters into for the community channel and also our weather channel was a small console with a rotating black and white camera with two flood lites sweeping a clock, barometer, wind speed and direction and temp gauges. we thought we really had something when they came out with a 100 degree LNA. Remember having to run heliax and 214 all the way into the receiver's. Way before wedges...I think our drops had a solid dialectric so it was stiff as a board and used two piece fittings.
