I remember pressure taps,no grounds on drops ,59u only,carrying Sadelco meter up the pole on your back,if you couldn't reach it off hooks you crawled out on telco,1 day to wire the headend because there were only 6 channels with a 3 or 400 foot tower,I remember working on cable systems that they would not wire the black end of town.I remember lineman that would climb 100 poles a day, drink half the night and would be waiting for you at the warehouse the next morning.I would not take anything for my 48 years in the cable business its been great for me.
