Hey Bush.... your better off working for a retailer, not Mastec.. Changes are comming that will require a low voltage license within by my estimates from my what Im told by the end of the year. All the company's have used a 489 14(a) exemption but most local and state investigators have not read it is only for utilities like Power, so the statement which was/is being passed from State is NO were not covered Sat and Cable and Home Theat.
