Nope, no transformer at the pole, KG.
What was weird about the whole situation is that with the previous gear (GI), I either had the raised floor or it was flat. There was no in between. However, when I replaced the GI MB with an SA HGD, I could clearly see noise from two of the 3 outputs, making my job MUCH easier once I could see it. Has anyone else seen this problem with GI? I've been to plenty of GI amps and tracked noise with no issues. This one was different though.
Shane, you're right man. Intermittent noise blows. You get all the way out there, start tracking it, and then POOF... gone. Complete pain in the a$$.
