Cable and Satellites techs skills have been cheapen by the greed of the contracting company. They make deals where they have to rob the techs profits in order to keep there pockets full. It doesn't matter that you have a wife and kids to support. It doesn't matter They play the nice guy to get you in , then 3-4 weeks out to get your 1st pay all of a sudden you see surprise charge backs, retainers, 10% penalties for not having workmans com and other tricks. They have it down pat. Not a care for the tech they keep working ripping off until they release him for they're so called reasons. Not to mention ghosting your tech number to other techs which gives you all the credit for a bad techs work. Same thing Mastec used to do with their good ol boy system. Media Net ghost tech numbers too and then plays the tech off as a bad tech. You call to put yourself on a job and find out your on a job already elsewhere where another tech is using your tech number. Sound familiar to anyone?
