sorry that doesn't add up,,, the new receiver are not capable of activation without an accesable signal,, (90) or better on all transponders and sats,,, this has been in effect for some time,,  thats really suxs as was stated,, you go in for a quick swap/replace and the receiver won't activate because of mid 80"s number,, got get the ladder and so on and so on,,,, even tho mid 80's is good enough for good pic,, just lower the number , the more rain fade and etc. affects it.........
