I am sure you are a competent professional. If you would accept the idea that the main function of a certified installation is that the man doing the installation certifies that all is done according to specification. What you are asking, in another phrase, is to discover how you can gain the knowledge of specifications so you can apply your already high level skills....perhaps to get off the road.
The issue with the charge backs is not that some QC guy found fault with work and rejected the work. While that may happen the biggest complaint around Directv & Dish is that the charge backs are unfounded, bogus, inaccurate bull shit!
The major subcontractors steal. No amount of skill will stop the greed.
