Im with you guys Splicer and John, I have worked both sides and would never have had the opertunities that I have had if I would have stayed in the union. What these guys dont understand is that if you were union the contractor would be able to get rid of you (lay you off) for any reason or no reason at all.
These guys also say the pay will be more, well wrong again... If you take the amount they would gross on their check, minus dues, and fringes, insurance, and supplimental dues they will end up on the loosing end for the hours they put in.
