Re: very small fiber splice case???

The Runt is about 14" long.  I've had to improvise in some circumstances where I had very little space, or for temporary splice.  If the splice can be protected inside a pedestal or vault where water won't be flooding in, I've used just a "tray only" then put a zip lock bag over it, then taped it up.  The problem is securing the buffer tubes so that they are somewhat protected.
