Re: In-House Leaders.....Really?

I have considered going in house a few times, but the pay was not enough and the micro management was to much for me to handle. If the RGU commissions as a sub contractor keep going lower and lower then going in house is an option that could be a better deal. As you know the people that work in house do become the contractors of tomorrow. There are a few in house positions that are not bad. Cable companies are starting to figure out how to make it work and save a ton of money. If they pay the reps the contract rates they are still going to save a bundle. If they cut out the contractor they will save at least 30%. A contractor is always at risk of loosing reps. There job is not to give anyone a reason to leave. Keep the commissions high, give me a lot of turf and I won't say by!

100% wrong but thanks for playing......
Contractors are ALWAYS cheaper than in-house since you don't have all the indirect costs and benefits involved and since you are ONLY paying for sales made not time put in.

The only thing that can be stated when in-house reps get anywhere near what a contractor cna make is that the MSO is screwing that contractor in pay on what true going rate should be....
