Try the Commscope website. At one time there was a downloadable document of basic construction specs. It was more of a guide on how to hang the coax, but it included info on expansion loops, wrapping the lashing wire, etc. Have you checked with the MSO? How do they want it done? My guess is they'll tell you/told you "we want it to look good and work when you're finished." Either that, or "use generally accepted practices." YOU should come up with the specs if you can't get support from the MSO. If you have to, bring in all your crews and have a "Come to Jesus" meeting. Tell them what is expected, then hold them to it and don't let the construction crews blame the splicers and vice versa. Good luck.
