Definitely Spacing. Sounds like the cable company is trying to use 750 gear in an 860 design. They do it all the time. Design 860, using 750 equip. (cheaper) and a few years down the line, they'll swap mods. to 860. then they'll send their techs out to re-balance the first outs, and screw up the whole system.
