Went to see the flick this afternoon. Not bad it followed the book a bit more than the Dukes version but was not as good as I had hoped. Bridges did a fairly good job and the girl that played Mattie Ross was a lot better than Kim Darby. I know they were not trying to remake the 69 version but I think they could have made Roster a lot more saltier and a bigger prick then it would have been a great movie. I would give it a 2 1/2 stars out of 4. I would have been a little upset had I paid full price to see it but it was worth the matinée price.
